SOLUS x Gone Rogue present Patrick Church’s first UK exhibition. A retrospective and intimate look at Church’s work spanning over 8 years of expression and design. Church’s work is raw, diaristic, and often painted directly onto body, clothing, or canvas.

“I Tried” gathers new collage style tapestries, alongside iconic original works. The showroom will house live painting sessions on bespoke Solus tiles and live models, created in situ over the residency.

Patrick Church is a British multimedia artist currently living and working in New York City. He paints from a personal point of view. Blurring the boundaries between art and fashion, juxtaposing vulnerability with fearlessness; reflective of Patrick's own character.

ART

I TRIED.

"I paint every day, always. I think it started as a way to get rid of whatever feeling I was having next.

Something physical to push me forward and leave behind. To see them now, all lined up. I see that person and those moments with more kindness. It’s a story of someone trying.
