Ruth is a contemporary British painter based in Sussex, creating bold, joyful artworks that celebrate colour, nostalgia and the rituals of leisure. Inspired by memory, architecture and moments of escape, her paintings blur the boundaries between the real and the imagined through layered, dreamlike compositions.

A graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, with formative studies at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Ruth's instinctive use of colour lies at the heart of her practice, creating works that evoke emotion, atmosphere and a sense of place. She has exhibited throughout the UK and internationally, including at The Other Art Fair in Santa Monica, and her work has also been featured in Saatchi Art's inaugural NFT collection.
