At just 22, CHUO (real name Joseph Reed) has already carved a unique space in the contemporary art world. A dual-national of Portuguese and British heritage, he was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2022 at the age of 19. His mesmerising paper works — painstakingly hand-cut and deeply influenced by Japanese stencil-making traditions have earned him a cult following in both Asia and the UK.
